Overview

The School of  Pharmacy equips students with a dynamic, challenging, and comprehensive curriculum, which includes a foundation in biological, biomedical, clinical, pharmaceutical and physical sciences, clear focus on application and use knowledge in practical settings, and a general education in healthcare systems, ethics, management, professional issues, communication, and practice skills.

Being the first institution in Vietnam affiliated with the Asian Conference on Clinical Pharmacy since 2008, and then hosted the ACCP in 2013, our School of Pharmacy has been working closely with our clinical staff at teaching hospitals to improve the use of medicines. Clinical pharmacy services in our teaching hospitals are gradually developed and accepted and be teaching facilities for our pharmacy students.

Located in a coastal city, in a tropical country with more than 3000 km coastal line we recognize the great opportunities to focus our research capacity on drug discovery from marine medicinal materials. A Center for Marine Pharmacognosy established and marine medicinal materials is now a major topic teaching in our curriculum.

· Pharmacist (5 years)

The Bachelor of Pharmacy is a five-year, full-time professional degree combining advanced scientific investigation with training in clinical practice and optimum patient care. Specifically, it covers the study of the chemical, physical, pharmaceutical, and pharmacological properties of medicinal substances and the application of these in the pharmacy profession.
